@Forever yeah so basically I know we as a community ask for a lot, but I was wondering; why would “grave digging” be against the rules?

After doing so much here, I’ve come to realize that most people here are not great “initiators” but have great reactions. What I mean is that a lot of people here tend to sit around on the website, until something happens, whether than be a new announcement for an update or some type of debate. And let’s be honest here; we both know that this place has gone far past just a place where you can plead to get your account back after a misplaced ban, it’s now an online lounge, for many of the most active.

So what I was wondering is this; eventually, people do begin to run out of ideas, right? So then they would want to go back and converse on say, older posts and essentially, “gravedig” ideas and concepts that could be expanded on more than ever. Best part is it won’t even require anyone to start the thread, since it was already made months, or even years ago.

Edit: I did some quick research online and yeah, outright allowing gravediggings gonna cause problems, since some idiot might reply on a thread that’s like years old since they seriously still think people would still talk about it. I guess the best way to fix this is to I guess become a lot more flexible on what’s considered okay and not okay when it comes to gravedigging. I know the devs don’t exactly care for the forums and don’t pop on, and there’s barely any moderators on here anymore, so I guess whether forever accepts this or not I suppose we could try it

yeah so what do you guys think

Maybe this will finally encourage Forever to get some new mods for the forums
